**The Gift of Time**

In a small village nestled between rolling hills and whispering woods, there lived a young boy named Ravi. He was no different from other children his age, with a playful spirit and a curious mind. But there was one thing that set him apart—his deep love for his parents.

Ravi's parents, Sita and Mohan, were simple folk. They worked hard every day in the fields, planting crops and tending to their livestock. They woke up before dawn and returned home late, tired but content, knowing they were providing for their family. Though life was hard, it was filled with love.

Every morning before leaving for the fields, Sita would braid Ravi's hair and prepare a simple breakfast for him. Mohan would ruffle his son's hair and give him a playful wink, promising to tell him a new story when he returned in the evening. Ravi loved these moments. He treasured the warm embrace of his mother's arms and the sound of his father's laughter echoing in their small home.

One day, as Ravi was playing by the stream near their house, he noticed a strange tree. It was unlike any other tree he had seen before. The leaves shimmered like gold, and the fruits it bore were as bright as jewels. Ravi was drawn to the tree, and as he approached, he noticed a sign nailed to its trunk. The sign read, "The Tree of Time—Pick a Fruit and Gain an Hour."

Ravi’s heart raced with excitement. He had always wished for more time with his parents. They were always so busy, and he longed for the days when they could spend hours playing, laughing, and telling stories. Without a second thought, Ravi plucked a golden fruit from the tree.

As soon as he did, something magical happened. The world around him seemed to slow down. The sun hung a little longer in the sky, and the shadows of the trees stretched lazily across the ground. Ravi ran back home, clutching the golden fruit, eager to share his discovery with his parents.

When Sita and Mohan returned from the fields that evening, they were surprised to see Ravi waiting for them at the door, his eyes shining with excitement. He told them about the magical tree and how the fruit could give them more time together.

Sita and Mohan exchanged a look, their hearts swelling with love for their son. They knew how much Ravi cherished their time together, and their hearts ached knowing they couldn't always be there as much as they wanted.

"Ravi," Sita said gently, "the time we have together is precious, but it is made even more special because we make the most of it. This magical fruit may give us an extra hour, but what truly matters is how we spend the time we already have."

Mohan knelt beside his son and placed a hand on his shoulder. "We love you more than anything, Ravi. And we promise to always find time for you, no matter how busy we are. But remember, time is a gift that is best enjoyed when shared with love."

Ravi looked at the golden fruit in his hand and then at his parents. He realized that the true magic wasn't in the extra time the fruit could give, but in the love they shared every day. With a smile, he placed the fruit on the table and hugged his parents tightly.

From that day on, Ravi never worried about how much time they had together. Instead, he cherished every moment—whether it was helping his mother in the kitchen, listening to his father's stories, or simply sitting together under the starry sky.

And in those moments, he found that love, not time, was the most precious gift of all.
