Here’s a short narrative involving a child and Dr. Uncale:

---

**"I Don’t Like Injections"**

Little Timmy sat nervously on the cold, paper-covered examination table, his legs dangling off the edge. He stared at the posters on the wall of Dr. Uncale’s office—cartoon animals with big smiles and bright colors. But today, even the cheerful elephant couldn't distract him.

Dr. Uncale entered the room with a warm smile, his white coat swishing as he moved. "How are we today, Timmy?" he asked, his voice gentle and reassuring.

Timmy squirmed a bit and mumbled, "Okay, I guess..."

Dr. Uncale noticed the worry in Timmy’s eyes. He knelt down to be at eye level with him. "I hear you're not too excited about getting a little shot today."

Timmy nodded, his lower lip trembling slightly. "I don’t like injections," he whispered.

Dr. Uncale smiled kindly. "I understand. A lot of people don’t like them, even grown-ups. But do you know why we need to do this?"

Timmy shook his head, still looking uncertain.

"Well," Dr. Uncale began, "this little injection is like a superhero’s shield. It helps keep you strong and healthy, so you can run, play, and do all the things you love without getting sick."

Timmy listened, still unsure, but the idea of being strong like a superhero caught his interest.

"It only takes a second, and you’re so brave, I know you can do it," Dr. Uncale continued. "How about this—while I give you the injection, you can think about your favorite superhero. And I promise, it’ll be over before you can say, ‘Super Timmy!’"

Timmy took a deep breath and nodded. He closed his eyes and thought about his favorite superhero, imagining himself in a cape, flying through the sky.

Before he knew it, Dr. Uncale said, "All done!"

Timmy opened his eyes in surprise. "That’s it?"

"That’s it!" Dr. Uncale replied, putting a cool superhero sticker on Timmy’s arm where the injection had been. "You were so brave, Timmy. Just like a real superhero."

Timmy smiled proudly, feeling a little taller as he hopped off the table. "Maybe injections aren’t so bad after all," he thought to himself as he waved goodbye to Dr. Uncale.

As he left the office, Timmy felt a sense of accomplishment. He had faced his fear and realized that sometimes, even the things we don’t like can help us be stronger and healthier—just like a superhero.
